| Otterbein Church is organized for ministry and mission around
three distinct areas, nurturing, outreach, and witness or N.O.W.
teams. In addition, the administrative and support committees
are a part of the N.O.W. Support Team, where they focus on providing
the facilities, personnel and financial resources for the delivery
of ministry to the downtown Baltimore, and the Otterbein and Federal
Hill communities. Check out the online church calendar for the latest information on activities at The New Old
Otterbein UMC.
Nurture
Ministries- The
nurturing ministries of Otterbein give attention to but are not
limited to, education, worship, Christian formation, membership
care, small groups, and stewardship. For a more detailed look

Outreach
Ministries - The outreach ministries of the church give
attention to local and larger community ministries of compassion,
justice, and advocacy. These ministries include our church and
the society we live in, global missions, higher education and
support to our United Methodist schools, health and welfare for the
members and residents of our community, Christian unity and
interreligious concerns, religion and race relations, and the status
and role of women. For a more detailed look at our Outreach
Ministries, visit the Outreach page.
Witness Ministries
- The witness ministries at
Otterbein give attention to developing and strengthening
evangelistic efforts of sharing our personal and congregational
stories of the Christian experiences, faith and service,
communications to the community, the development of Lay Speaking
Ministries; and other ideas that give expressions of witness for
Jesus Christ. For a more detailed look at our Witness
Ministries, visit the Witness page. God's plan for your salvation is simple.
If you are seeking a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the
Witness Ministries Team invites you to visit The Plan for

The N.O.W. Support Team - The leadership
development and resourcing ministries are organized around the
ongoing preparation and development of lay and clergy leaders, the
care and expansion of facilities needed for ministry, and the
raising up of the case of Christ and the financial resources needed
to fulfill our calling to "go into all the world". For more
