Once again the Old Otterbein Church will be "gifting" to the Heifer Fund.  Maybe we can make Super Bowl Sunday a super challenge in giving.  The Heifer Fund was formed by a man intent on helping impoverished families around the world provide for themselves.  We are hoping over the months of January and February to collect enough spare change to purchase a cow ($500)!!  According to Heifer International: "there is perhaps no gift as meaningful than a heifer.  To a malnourished child, it means milk to drink each morning.  To a desperate parent, it means up to 4 gallons of milk each day to sell and dependable income to pay pay for food, clothes, school and medicine.  And, to a forgotten village, it means generation after generation of renewed hope as the gift of the offspring is passed from one family to the next."
PLEASE gather your quarters, nickels, and dimes each day and see how much of a cow you can purchase to make a difference.
